Ce disque, comme tous les microsillons et compacts publiés par les CALCHAKIS, a été entièrement conçu par Hector MIRANDA, créateur de l’ensemble. En tant que musicien il joue et chante avec ses camarades, en tant que peintre il des¬sine les illustrations et réalise les maquettes, en utilisant souvent ses propres photogra¬phies. Il rédige aussi les textes explicatifs, écrit les paroles de quelques-unes des chansons qu’il signe CALCHAY, et trouve les idées et le titre de chaque album. Ce travail primordial est complété par la virtuosité de ses partenaires ; le chilien Sergio ARRIAGADA, responsable de la réalisation musicale, l’argentin Aldo ARIEL qui prépare la majeure partie des harmonisations et les deux autres argentins Alberto RODRIGUEZ et Enrique CAPUANO.
This record, like ail the long-playings and compact-dises issued by the CALCHAKIS, was conceived entirely by Hector MIRANDA, founder of the ensemble. As a musician he plays and sings with his friends, as painter he draws the illustrations and does the artwork, often using his own photographs. He also writes the explanatory texts, composed the lyrics for some of the sangs, signing himself CALCHAY, and it is he who finds the ideas and the title for each album. This vital work is matched by the virtuosity of his fellow players; the Chilian Sergio ARRIAGADA who is in charge of musical production, the Argentinian Aldo ARIEL who prepares most of the harmonisations and the· two other Argentinians, Alberto RODRIGUEZ and Enrique CAPUANO.
