Amor Roma – Cantate barocche per la città di Roma est un programme dédié à la Ville éternelle, pensée comme berceau de la civilisation baroque et lieu fondateur de la culture latine. À travers une sélection de cantates de chambre inspirées de Rome et de son imaginaire, le projet rend hommage à la richesse musicale italienne du début du XVIIIe siècle. Il réunit des œuvres de compositeurs majeurs tels que Georg Friedrich Händel, Francesco Gasparini et Antonio Lotti, mêlant pièces connues et redécouvertes issues d’un travail de recherche sur les sources. Conçu autour d’un esprit à la fois historique et vivant, le programme propose une lecture sensible de Rome, entre mémoire, poésie et vitalité musicale.

Amor Roma – Cantate barocche per la città di Roma is a program dedicated to the Eternal City, conceived as the cradle of Baroque civilization and a foundational place of Latin culture. Through a selection of chamber cantatas inspired by Rome and its imagery, the project pays tribute to the richness of early 18th-century Italian music.
It brings together works by major composers such as Georg Friedrich Handel, Francesco Gasparini, and Antonio Lotti, combining well-known pieces with rediscoveries emerging from research into original sources. Conceived with both a historical and living spirit, the program offers a sensitive interpretation of Rome, at the intersection of memory, poetry, and musical vitality.
