The TrioPolycordes continues its partnership with today’s composers to discover new sonic territories. With this new recording (the first one from the Arion label) it makes the subtle mechanics of imaginary chimes heard. He leads us successively from the shores of the Mediterranean to the sounds of a Balinese gamelan. Then, in the dreamlike footsteps of a Pythagoras who would have preserved – buried in his reptilian brain – the ardor and savagery of the primitive hunter’s bowstring. The past, the future, the conscious, the unconscious intertwine creating a fine and intimate poetic mechanics woven by three instruments, three instrumentalists.
