Description

RARE, DERNIER EXEMPLAIRE / ONE LAST CD REMAINING

Naderman, a famous name associated with the harp, be it as a performer, a composer, a teacher or a builder. The name in fact concerns three people: Jean-Henri, who was essentially a builder, his sons François-Joseph—who appears in this recording— and Henri. Both of them were harpists and partners in the harp-making business founded by their father. The elder, François-Joseph (1773-1835), was a virtuoso player; the younger, Henri (born in 1780), a modest performer whose time was taken up between building and selling the instruments.
